Staff Panic! Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Staff Panic! is a mobile game made by Staff Panic! Games, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data the game uses, why, and what choices you have.
The short version
We don't run our own servers and we never receive your personal data. The game uses three Google services: Google AdMob for ads, Google Play Games Services for sign-in and cloud saves, and Google Play Billing for purchases. Those services collect some data, as explained below.
1. Ads (Google AdMob)
The game shows two kinds of ads. Rewarded ads are optional and give you free coins. Interstitial ads are full-screen ads shown between shifts. AdMob may collect:
- your device's advertising ID
- your IP address, which can show your approximate location
- device and app information, such as phone model, operating system and app version
- how you interact with ads, such as views and taps
Google uses this to show ads, measure their performance, limit how often you see them and prevent fraud. If you agree, it's also used to show ads based on your interests.
Your choices:
- If you're in the UK or the European Economic Area, the game asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy settings in the game's settings menu.
- If you're in a US state with privacy laws, you can opt out of your data being used for targeted advertising through the same Privacy settings.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your phone's settings, under Privacy, then Ads.
- You can buy "Remove Ads" to permanently remove interstitial ads. Rewarded ads stay available if you want free coins.
You can learn how Google uses data from apps that use its services here: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
2. Sign-in and cloud saves (Google Play Games Services)
The game signs you in automatically with your Google Play Games profile, so it doesn't need a separate account or password. Your game progress, coins, staff and settings are saved to your Google Play Games account. That way, your progress survives if you reinstall the game or move to a new phone.
This data is stored by Google, not by us. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
3. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Coin packs, the starter pack and Remove Ads are bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment. The game never sees your card or payment details. It only receives confirmation of what you bought so it can unlock the item.
4. Feedback
The in-game "Send feedback" form saves your text on your phone only. It's never sent to us or anyone else.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or camera or microphone access. We don't use analytics or crash reporting tools, and we don't sell your data.
Legal basis (UK and EU players)
We rely on your consent for personalised ads. We rely on legitimate interests for non-personalised ads and fraud prevention. Cloud saves and purchases rely on providing the service you asked for.
How long data is kept
We hold no data about you. Data stored on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the game. Cloud saves stay in your Google Play Games account until you delete them, which you can do in your Google Play Games settings. Google keeps ad and purchase data in line with its own privacy policy.
International transfers
Google may process data outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States, using the legal safeguards described in its privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Most of the data described here is held by Google, so the quickest route is usually through your Google account settings. You're also welcome to contact us. If you're in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Staff Panic! is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
